On that day a song will be sung,
As we will have a strong city;
And allow the gates to be flung,
For the righteous we take pity.
Its fortifications provide,
Security we safely need;
So allow the righteous inside,
And that the faithful we will feed.
The nation that remains faithful,
Allow them for to enter in;
The outside world is disgraceful,
Legalizing immoral sin.
With perfect peace you will protect,
Those, whose minds that cannot be changed;
No longer trusting and reject,
The true God that has been estranged.
Always put your trust in the Lord,
He is an everlasting rock;
That needs to be in one accord,
Following footsteps where you walk.
He has brought down of those who live,
Within the towering high rise;
Leveled down into dust He gives,
A trembling fear of the surprise.
Feet trample those who have oppressed,
Taking advantage of the poor;
Immorality as obsessed,
That evil lurks within their core.
The way of the just is upright,
Righteousness is the level path;
That is guiding you toward the light,
And is sparing you from His wrath.
The highway is righteously smooth,
Travelling the straight and narrow;
Calming you nerves it will soothe,
Same as the path of an arrow.
With my soul I long for the night,
As my spirit patiently waits;
For the world to learn what is right,
As to what the Lord truly hates.
