Cacophony

In these modern
times specially in a city
Silence is a very
precious commodity

Anywhere that one
goes there is cacophony
Horns blowing, people
screaming, a disharmony

We think we adapt to such
a noisy environment
But constant noise can lead
to stress and ailment

To recoup one has to take
a break and go away
To a Himalayan monastery
or a silent resort faraway
