Jilted

Lonely was the soul that I met

Wondering down the road and I

Felt compelled to ask him of his

Loss. He told me of a love a sweet

Girl of twenty one who jilted him

In favour of her boss

I feel I must confide his life was

Much the same as mine in fact

The girl described so like the one

I lost. 'Twas then I realised my

Mistake the man was I reflected

In the window of a shop
