Longfellow Becomes Short fellow
{This parody is dedicated to Longfellow whom I hold in high esteem}
[Longfellow revisited this mundane world.
Taken aback by today's scenario,
he chose himself to be called Short fellow.
He modified his famous poem “Lives of Great Men”]
Lives of dwarf leaders all remind us
Our lives to anyone we can submit
And departing leave behind us
DNA fingerprints on the paper of crime
DNA fingerprints that perhaps another
Drowning in life's unsteady whirlpool
A forked and whip wrecked brother
Seeing shall break heart again
I “Longfellow” have become “Short fellow”
To sense your throbs, you broken heart fellow!
