 once upon a time

johnmcguckin78gmailcomheathergibsonjohnnyduncangeishashadowsontheheart

Rain bespattered puddles,scattered

reflections within remain the same.

Thoughts of people hurrying thru

the downpour change dramatically.

Just moments before the rain, perhaps

happy in their mood, then because the

water of life envelops them,

they shudder and frown.

Wonder how they would feel if the rain

never fell, despondent, parched, frightened,

that life is over, never again to complain about

rain. Be happy scattered reflections remain.

Today, tomorrow,Armageddon may rain down.

What then, where shall we find our reflections,

once more cast onto stone. As happened in

Hiroshima and Nagasaki so many years ago.
