I want you to understand,
So become not arrogant;
Of the mystery at hand,
By what the Father has sent.
The minds of some became shut,
As the Lord comes from Zion;
That the godlessness be cut,
By the bite from a lion.
Israel as a whole saved,
A promise shall be fulfilled;
No longer to be enslaved,
But spiritually instilled.
God will take away your sin,
That Satan had caused the curse;
Straying without discipline,
Temptation had made it worse.
The Gospel had made Jews foes,
Enemies because of you;
Because of what the Lord chose,
To adopt more than the Jew.
God never changes His mind,
When He gives someone a gift;
To show mercy and be kind,
Inspire others to uplift.
Those who disobeyed before,
No compassion could be found;
He would be closing the door,
Gnashing of teeth to surround.
Now God is gracious to you,
Merciful when you confess;
He is willing make anew,
Being gracious and will bless.
Riches and knowledge are deep,
To give wisdom and insight;
Inexplicable as sheep,
Uncertainty of the plight.
Who has know the mind of God,
For it is unsearchable;
Because our mind is flawed,
His thoughts are unspeakable.
