Empty Woes

The words go whispering on a breeze
Up through all the cob web trees
Useless rendered mind it goes
Fulfilling only empty woes

Empty imagination scream
A blank and barren lifetime dream
Where hand and mind no longer tinker
Cold as stone,  no longer thinker

The words go whispering on a breeze
Up through all the cob web trees
Useless rendered mind it goes
Fulfilling only empty woes

Vessel of thought and hand of creation
Victim of life's devastation
Just the shell of one who stood
A place, a time, a life so good

The words go whispering on a breeze
Up through all the cob web trees
Useless rendered mind it goes
Fulfilling only empty woes

Remember then the words so sweet
And soft the grass beneath the feet
A story that had then begun
To wither now in setting sun

The words go whispering on a breeze
Up through all the cob web trees
Useless rendered mind it goes
Fulfilling only empty woes
Fulfilling only empty woes
