From the Heart Through the Pen

Love masquerading as pain

I as sane

We're dancing in this rain

Forgetting this world even exists

I breathe you in deep

For we don't know how many more

Will be moments like this

Tomorrow's not promised so

You pull me close

These novels you're writing are quite evocative

My heavy heart suddenly feather light

Our lips embrace and still

They know not of our plight

Our love beats so hard

They feel it in their chests

Now we have witnesses

Yet all I see is you

All I feel, need, want, love

...Is You

You stole my soul, heart, mind, words, and breath

Are you able to read my eyes

They should reflect

Why everyday I still rise

The reason...
