Who has believed our message?
The power of the Lord revealed;
That will give the rite of passage,
In our past that has been sealed.
He grew up within His presence,
Like a young tree has taken root;
The aroma of the essence,
While bearing the holy fruit.
He had no form or majesty,
That is making us look at Him;
Sort of an air of mystery,
Being caused by spiritual vim.
Nothing to make us desire,
But was despised and rejected;
A man of sorrow acquired,
Suffering while neglected.
Despised as they turned their faces,
Not considered of having worth;
Unfair chastised through disgraces,
Through His life living here on earth.
He certainly took suffering,
As He carried our sorrows;
And comforting for buffering,
Allowing brighter tomorrows.
We thought that He had been wounded,
Being beaten and was punished;
Because others were offended,
For one man being admonished.
But we should never had the facts,
For He was crushed for our sin;
Wounded for the rebellious acts,
Since we are corrupted within.
He was punished so we have peace,
Because we have all strayed like sheep;
So our inner conflict will cease,
And we have no eternal sleep.
