State of Mind
I surely would
If only I could
But whether I should
And will it do any good
What if I really did
The dirty deed
Or instead
Payed no heed
To these constant
Persistent
Resonant
Irritant
Thoughts bouncing
Rebounding
Pingponging
Careening
In my mind
And let unwind
To finally find
Peace of some kind
If only I could
But whether I should
And will it do any good
What if I really did
The dirty deed
Or instead
Payed no heed
To these constant
Persistent
Resonant
Irritant
Thoughts bouncing
Rebounding
Pingponging
Careening
In my mind
And let unwind
To finally find
Peace of some kind
