A Prayer
Let us pray for
a peaceful existence
Protection from
the human pestilence
From the sowers
of communal discord
Please give them
wisdom, my dear Lord
From the fanatics
with some stupid cause
Please Lord press a
button to make them pause
From crazies and
lunatics on a killing spree
Please Lord lock them
up and throw away the key
From the rapists,
perverts and child abusers
The mafia, assassins,
drug lords and drug users
So many names my
Lord the list is never ending
And all we pray for is a
peaceful life with happy ending
