Chocolate

Oh they're out in the sunshine
Wandering through the trees
Picking the cocoa
In ones and twos and threes:

Oh they take this little bean
And they grind it and mix it
Stir it and turn it
And when it's done they fix it.
And they very carefully
Making sure there's no waste
Turn it into a creamy brown
Liquid runny little paste.

Then they take all these flavours
Some soft some hard, all sweet
And they pat them and shape them
To make them all look neat

They take the liquid beans
And as the shapes pass down a line
Pour it all over them
And it sets with a shine
And they pack them
All neatly in a pretty carton
And fix the box lid on

So we have a box of chocolates
A selection made to delight
That we can eat watching telly
On a warm and cosy winter night
