When you look at the paintings of Matisse
And you look at the paintings of Picasso
You realize Matisse heard the music of the soul
And Picasso heard the call of the flesh
One lives and laughs--the other--pages in a diary
I wonder if any of the dead lovers in his life
Will ever paint a “Weeping Picasso?”
