Her Soul
Written by Cynthia L. B. Bogear

Alone in the silence her tears fall,
What had she been waiting for,
Soul awaken but not tears of joy,
Years she waited with ice in her soul,
Scared of the words ached her heart,
Uncertain of her self emotions,
Turning back to see no road,
Looking forward not sure where to go,
She could open to the deepest,
But would she be alone,
Fear ran through her heart,
Fire sticking its match,
Cold found no home,
Fire only begins to grow,
The words could come so easy,
Fear holds them in tightly,
A risk she could take,
A soul that no longer can break,
His touch his kiss and blue eyes,
His quest for her heart,
But what of her soul,
Tender lips pleading for his touch,
She's never known to feel this much,
As he goes she waits,
Will he return every night for love's sake,
Has this been her illusion,
Has life taken the last of her soul,
Has her fear became her home,
In silence her tears will fall for him,
Until he returns to touch her soul.
