'Love me again'

The bed was warm, the night was cold

The clock struck one, he'd not come home

There'd been a fuss, some discontent

'Your love's in trouble' friends had said

The night was long, the day was too

Where had he gone, what could she do?

She didn't have his number, he didn't have a phone

She went to bed at 2am to cuddle up alone

She felt a weight beside her, a hand in search of love

What passed had been an awful dream, from which

She'd just woke up. She turned and never mentioned

From where the teardrop came, but holding him through

Afterglow she pressed, 'Love me again'
