If I say that I love you
Will you look my way
And say that all that matters
Is the song of our hearts,
That time and distance
Are just dreams we dispelled
In the magical light of sunset.
If I smiled at you
Would it warm your mind
With the soft flame of inspiration,
Make your heart blossom like spring,
Make your eyes wide like the ocean.
All that passes is my hymn to you,
Fading into the eternal sky
And we misty eyed travellers
Will dance beneath the shining stars
Until there is nothing left but us.
