One Last Dance
Thank you for being there
Thank you for the care
You took care of me even did my hair
Thank you for all the love
Thank you for the winter glove
I keep talking to you in the heavens above
Thank you for playing with me
Thank you for climbing that tree
We hid in the tree house for no one to see
Thank you for just holding
Thank you for not scolding
You and I played with clay and molding
Thank you for the protection
Thank you for the direction
I keep thinking of us and our reflection
Thank you for the dance
Thank you for the chance
What I would give for one last glance
