Something that you must understand,
We are living in the last days;
Violent periods demand,
That the forces of evil preys.
Selfish people loving money,
That are bragging with arrogance;
Desire of milk and honey,
Other views they take an offence.
They curse the leaders no respect,
For the traditional values;
The making of peace the reject,
Conservatism they refuse.
They have no love for what is good,
Loving pleasure rather than God;
Cursing everyone that would,
Desire to honor and laud.
But you know just what had been taught,
Faith in a holy way of life;
Patience and love that must be sought,
For endurance against the strife.
Evil folks go from bad to worse,
Phony preachers try to mislead;
You know when hearing them curse,
Not following what God decreed.
Continue in the ways you learn,
And what you have found to be true;
Showing others that do sojourn,
How the Holy Scriptures to construe.
From your infancy you have known,
The power that gives you wisdom;
By abiding God will condone,
Letting you into His Kingdom.
All Scripture is breathed out by God,
All useful for training through life;
Pointing out to where you are flawed,
Able to help you cope through strife.
They equip you to serving God,
Preparing you to do good things;
Showing how to honor and laud,
Benefits that salvation brings.
