My heart is cold flame
To the pain you feel
My love is like a bird
That flies through the clouds
Of your darkest days
And works it magic there.
I wish all barriers would fall
And I could stay with you
In ways that the world can't know:
If no one else sees your beauty
Well I do all the time
And my soul cries for you,
My days empty into space
And the stars shine in my dreams
As pointers to your secret places.
