HERE LIES THE MAN WE CALLED FATHER
Here... right here...by choice of God.. lies the man... we call "Father"
What we became, depended on what he taught us at peculiar moments
But when he was not at it...we were formed by little snippets of wisdom
And as for the things that chanced around us, they are quite appalling
A basket full of mysterious life series that coroneted our little livelihoods
I think we were here before these strangers who consult winds arrived
That didn't matter a bit, they installed themselves like impious viruses
They went viral trying to turn us into things, we were never meant to be...
Isn't it also true that a man's foes will be the members of his household?
Even zinging our spouses that should have been strictly out of bounds
I know that children are Gods free and wonderful vessels of love
The Holy book says...."I even I am He who comforts you"
God himself asks ...Who are you afraid of a man, who will die?
But I had a praying grandmother... who fed me a series of prayer grains
Grandma Anna said... that entreaty is in Gods private bank account
She believed that it takes longer time to withdraw the funds entwined in
Divine weaves than witchcraft and the well invited guests of polygamy
In a series of misfortunes into deplorable self styled soprano adversaries
People secured their own interests, truces were agreed upon and sealed
When I see all things going down fast like the perishable withering roses
I wonder where things fell apart and promises were carelessly broken
When I stepped out of physical sight... was this the man of honor I knew?
And whether this was still the man I mini -me called "Father"?
