Praise God, Father of our Lord,
He has given us a new birth;
We need to be in one accord,
As we sojourn on planet earth.
For because of His great mercy,
We have been born to a new life;
Bringing you joy all that you see,
Even through any midst of strife.
A new life that has confidence,
Which is alive because of Christ;
Able to give us a defense,
From what make us become enticed.
To a new life we have been born,
Never able to fade away;
As we continue to sojourn,
As long as we trust and obey.
An inheritance that is kept,
Up in Heaven for you and waits;
Then shortly after you have slept,
Once you have entered through the gates.
It can never be imperfect,
And will never become destroyed;
For it will never contradict,
The Word of the Lord as employed.
You are guarded by His power,
Through the faith for your salvation;
Protecting you through each hour,
That is building your foundation.
A salvation to be revealed,
Once we have reached the end of time;
As the book of life is unsealed,
And we will make the final climb.
You are happy about these things,
Even though strife makes you suffer;
With hope on what the future brings,
Your faith in Christ is your buffer.
For faith is more precious than gold,
Through salvation being the goal;
Confidence that will make you bold,
Protecting your faith for your soul.
