TO BE AN ANGEL...

when you're an angel
you jump down
alight gently
upon the ground
and the you jump
skyward
you float far
you float wide
you float up and over
until you're on the other side
and you've got skills
mad skills
super powers
you're always the person of the hour
when you're an angel

when you're an angel
you have wings
and you're truly capable of
all things
and you don't have any limits
and you send and receive messages
you have direct connections
up with the heavens
and you are never alone
and always a friend
and nearly most are glad
to see you when you're sent
when you're an angel

when you're an angel
you can be small
you don't have to be ambitious
but all your works become tall
and lofty
because you're a softy
and so kind
your arrival brings with it
some peace of mind

when you're an angel
you've only pleasant and pleasing things
in mind
and so endeavor to be helpful
and soulful
in multi-faceted sparkling ways
how you listen intently
to the words of humans
by the buckets and the bowlfuls
and all their words great and small
have got wings
and you carry them to the place
in your a heart to the One
who'd have you sing
like a song

when you're angel
you've got yourself busy
all twenty-four days longs
doing only goodness things
when you're an angel

how would it be
to be an angel
with a pair of soaring wings
never have to travel
you are cared for by the One
who deems you the first and the last
no need for luggage nor would you loose
your boarding pass

when you're an angel
your ticket is always open
and always fulfilled
how good to be an angel
to never be alone nor lonely
to be befriended by The One Above
His Kindest One and Only
oh how glorious
oh wouldn't it be grand
and love-laborious
oh, oh, oh
to be an angel.

November 14 2017/ three fourteen in the early morning
rising...like an angel

I woke up with all this in my head
and had to get up and write it down.

TO BE EDITED LATER...JUST HAD TO GET IT ALL DOWN
BEFORE IT WAS GONE.
