Where is the scholar with wisdom?
Where is the persuasive speaker?
That God has sent from His Kingdom,
For being the truthful seeker.
Has wisdom turned into nonsense?
When unable to recognize;
Understanding with confidence,
That no one could ever disguise.
God decided that the Good News,
We speak to save those who believe;
That people are able to choose,
The salvation they can receive.
You look for miraculous signs,
Or maybe you look for wisdom;
Rather we look for what aligns,
With the thoughts from His Kingdom.
The message of the crucified,
Makes no sense and offends the Jew;
How Jesus Christ is glorified,
That everyone can construe.
But to those who are Jew or Greek,
Know Christ has the wisdom of God;
As well as the power we seek,
Realizing He is not a fraud.
The nonsense of God is wiser,
Than wisdom of any human;
Able to be an adviser,
In prayer after the last amen.
The weakness of God is stronger,
Than all of our human strength;
Able to persevere much longer,
Out lasting at any length.
Whoever brags must always brag,
About all that the Lord has done;
While proudly bearing His flag,
Through the victory by the Son.
