Escape fails
time and time again ever since
long ago, like migratory birds.
Haven't I been defeated?
Such is my life. It is destined
to no victory from the very start.
So, I am back here
for the last time before going fugitive.
The dead are in the grave,
and the alive far away from death.
Momentary glimpse of native place,
family and my life is like the image
on the ground, t
he shadow I see
on turning around;
or more like a dream.
Have I learned to love
before the arrival of death?
For I'm not certain whether I will
return to this world.
