I am writing this unto you,
So that you will never sin;
Only to be as tried and true,
No longer corrupted within.
Yet if anyone that does sin,
And who God gave His approval;
The Holy Spirit cleans within,
When you confess for removal.
Christ speaks upon our behalf,
In the presence of the Father;
Comforted by His rod and staff,
As our Shepherd and Brother.
He is the payment for the sin,
Not just for mine rather for all;
Since we are corrupted within,
Ever since Adam took his fall.
We are sure to know Jesus Christ,
If we obey His commandments;
And no longer become enticed,
By this world and all its ailments.
If I know Him but not obey,
Then I lie with no truth within;
I live in darkness where I stray,
So I can continue to sin.
But whoever would keep His Word,
Has the love of God perfected;
For heeding to what he has heard,
As to what it has reflected.
Those who say that they live in Him,
Must live the same way that he dwelt;
Will be given spiritual vim,
And knowing the way that He felt.
To cry wolf I am writing not,
But to ensure you are aware;
In finding the truth you have sought,
Disguises you need to beware.
