 Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

poetryofadove

O Lord, I call upon You,
As my rock solid and true;
Please do not turn a deaf ear,
What You are about to hear.

If You remain silently,
I will feel violently;
Abandoned into a pit,
Emotions that will not quit.

Hear my prayer asking for grace,
Plea for mercy for Your embrace;
When I lift my hands up high,
Towards the Heavens as I cry.

Drag me not with the wicked,
Taken unto their death bed;
Troublemakers who speak peace,
But evil that will not cease.

Pay them back what they have done,
Evil deeds since time begun;
Pay them back done with their hands,
Contrary to Your commands.

So give them what they merit,
Garnish what they inherit;
Damnation in the fire,
For evil they desire.

Tear them down never rebuilt,
Since they have had no guilt;
Conceiving not what they did,
Revealing not what they hid.

Thank You O Lord as I pray,
Hearing my plea what I say;
For I am faithful and true,
And obedient to You.

You are my strength and my shield,
Moving forward not to yield;
My heart triumphant with trust,
Knowing You are fair and just.

A stronghold of salvation,
Giving me motivation;
My shepherd who is alert,
Guiding me through the desert.
