Her pain unseen becomes her day
Compassion, love, her yesterdays
Have left the room and her heart
Where to begin, where should he start
His lack as if he turns blind eye
To what she seeks, unheard are cries
For years it seems selfish became
What once was husband, her life sustains
More lost it seems her life becomes
If just but once. If just but one
Day would change and he would see
What she craves for deservedly
More like Neanderthal, this heartless beast
Has no regard and thinks of least
Her need to feel loved and respected
Much more hurtful, seems her rejected
Yet she stands still and waits on him
As if she is the one that sins
The day will come when she will wake
Abused by him for granted takes
Time does tick away this day
And soon she will just walk away
For no one should live life this way
For needs she has, her dues long paid
