Your beauty
I simply cannot ignore
Corner eye creases
Equates luminous emeralds
Accompanying pearls I longed for
In my dark world
A weakness and
One of many reasons
These feelings continue to pour
I love you from crown to sole
Months, days, and hours
I’ve spent trying to explore
Why I’m still so weak
Yet Oh The Power
Of how you make me...
Feel real...feel whole
While existence without you
Is anything but
Thankful for your embrace
You’re my cure
Some want to compete
Still no auditions
Leading role forever cemented
Sealed and signed
Truly yours
Or is it vice versa
Strength redefined
As you restructure
Then become my world
With Beauty so pure
Beauty unlike any I’ve experienced before

“Love feels no burden,
thinks nothing of trouble,
attempts what is above its strength,
pleads no excuse of impossibility;
for it thinks all things lawful for itself,
and all things possible.”
—Thomas Kempis
