I Need To Shred

Maybe I'm being selfish,
I don't know why.
Yes I was forgotten last year,
And yes I tried to let it go by.
Letting it go,
Isn't the truth i must say.
For you gave someone else
A crafty Christmas day.
I'm not looking for something,
Bought from a local store.
I'm looking for an act of kindness,
Or crafty gift of more.
Just a moment in your life,
That I entered into your head.
Yet I was forgotten last year,
This selfishness i need to shred.
