I Recall

I recall seeing you give her that gift,
And how heart broken I was.
I wish I could forget,
I guess I wasn't worth the cause.
I thought we had a great relationship,
Mom and daughter surprise.
Maybe I'm being self centered,
Not crossing your mind kills my eyes.
I love you no matter what,
And will for the rest of my living days,
But crossing your mind on celebrations,
Will make memories on those days.
