The bitter Minnesota cold
separated the Men from the Boys as you better be tough and bold

The winds would have a chill factor
of way below zero and freezing for sure

In the freezing Minnesota winter
you have to dress in layers for success to survive and endure

We had our perfect snow ball making packing gloves that fit so snug and tight
and made the perfect snow bal so tight and compact and baseball hard stinging and hurting when hit just right

We had massive all out snow ball wars and fight
from the early morn until the dark at night

When we got tierd of throwing and smashing snow balls at each other
we started throwing snow balls at passing cars, ambushing them,BUT got in trouble from our dad and mother

I will always remember the crisp Minnesota cold
as a Minnesota kid it made you pretty tough and BOLD
