Searching for a cure,
Has a certain allure,
Depending on which way you're leaning,
Will you feel secure,
When you change your demure?
Or will you find it demeaning.
You take your pick,
You're not feeling sick,
There's no need to take any pills,
You feel a kick,
A switch you flick,
You crave a cure for your ills?
Beautiful as you are,
You then travel far,
It becomes an obsession, your duty,
It's really bizarre,
You'd reach for that scar,
Which could possibly ruin your beauty.
Look yourself in the eye,
Ask yourself why,
You believe you need realigned?
If it goes awry,
Will the real you die?
You're already gorgeous and refined.
To that which is out,
Please be devout,
It enshrines the person inside,
That's what holds clout,
Get rid of self-doubt,
There's nothing you have you should hide.
Though change can be good,
This is misunderstood,
The real you, you, must underpin,
Try to be shrewd,
Don't ever elude,
