The Backyard Of My Life

Cradle The Morning

The road to happiness the devil's steps
Roses falling guilty on a dirty dusty grave
You and i in chains locked up like a slave
Time to take the shallow and make it shine
Golden candles glowing at the center of a shrine
Chariot of fire rise above the flames
Rambler faithfully weeping wicked evil games

Soldier on through the sorrow
Carry the treasure into tomorrow
Promise never to constantly cry
Dignity dreaming with your head held high
Death hound howling in the black of night
Deserts departed desire for light
Believer began hypnotized doubt
Heaven's river will never run out

Cradle the morning hanging from a thread
Savor the moment the Mont senior said
Collide with the empire when ever you can
Captain the child to make him a man
Commence with the future forget about the past
Concur your fears in a crucified blast
Peacemaker of profit answer the call
Brothers in arms over the wall

Picture the emerald and kingdom come
Marry your memories when the day is done
Blessed with the sweet magnolia moon
Snowflakes stole your footsteps to soon
Thirteen wonderful slumbering winds wail
Waterloo sunset echoed with hard hitting hail
Hammer the ladder higher then law
Keep it with the key you found on the floor
