The Word of Life existed, From the very beginning; And have heard it persisted, When temptation caused sinning. We have seen and we have heard, And we were able to touch; For we also have observed, About life meaning so much. For this life has been revealed, We have seen to testify; Nothing will be left concealed, That nobody could deny. We write of eternal life, And living of the Father; Leaving behind any strife, Having Christ as a Brother. This is life as seen and heard, To have a relationship; As is written in the Word, For a new companionship. Our relationship through Christ, Is able to bridge the spread; Because He was sacrificed, Rescuing from a death bed. We can be completely filled, From joy and glory so bright; Inspiration that instilled, Because we know God is light. There is no darkness in Him, Yet we still live in the dark; Making our lives so grim, Where we remain to embark.
