Your mind must be clear,
Ready for action;
Knowing sin is near,
As a distraction.
Place your confidence,
Totally in God;
Giving best defense,
From becoming flawed.
His kindness will bring,
When Jesus appears;
For the truth will cling,
Ending all your fears.
Children who obey,
Know God you can trust;
So you do not stray,
Protect from the lust.
Live the kind of lives,
That satisfies God;
So when Christ arrives,
You will not be flawed.
Live not as before,
Through your desires;
Tempted by the lure,
Lighting your fires.
God called you holy,
As you live your life;
Honoring solely,
For easing your strife.
God as your Father,
On earth you sojourn;
Until your Brother,
Jesus does return.
He is who will judge,
All that you have done;
And not hold a grudge,
Direct and not shun.
For He is the Lamb,
Who was sacrificed;
And sent by Iam,
Paid for when enticed.
