You are a good servant,

In serving Jesus Christ;

Knowing you are fervent,

Him being sacrificed.

When you point these things out,

To sisters and brothers;

Never leave any doubt,

There has been no others.

Be nourished in the Word,

That your faith is based on;

Excellent teaching heard,

When waking up at dawn.

Refuse the old wives tales,

Godless myths of gossip;

They detour on to trails,

To a poisonous cup.

Train to live godly lives,

Godly living each day;

Because soon Christ arrives,

Since you no longer stray.

It has promise of life,

For now and the future;

Guarding against the strife,

To be a new creature.

What I write you can trust,

Deserves your acceptance;

Helping you resist lust,

Of evil persistence.

We work hard and struggle,

A godly life to live;

Through the concrete jungle,

Thoughts that God will forgive.

So we place confidence,

Into the living God;

Having an importance,

That you honor and laud.

Take heed to practice things,

Towards God in devotion;

For the blessing it brings,

For hallowed emotion.
