I am making it known to you.
The Gospel I already told;
And that you must then continue,
For proclaiming by being bold.
Based on the faith you have received,
You are saved through this loved doctrine;
But you must have firmly believed,
If through a faithful discipline.
I taught you unless you believe,
Assured that you have thought it out;
Christ died so that you will receive,
While not holding any doubt.
Birth from a virgin in her womb,
A carpenter had as his son;
When died He was placed in a tomb.
After all of His work was done.
Brought back to life on the third day,
As the Scriptures had predicted;
His hands and feet He could display,
Where His body was afflicted.
He appeared to the eleven,
Judas already died and gone;
Before ascending to Heaven,
After just forty days at dawn.
Just like an aborted fetus,
Who was suddenly brought to life;
Inflicted with diabetes,
Throughout the body causing strife.
It was all because of the sin,
That has corrupted my body;
I need spiritual discipline,
No longer being so gaudy.
I have never even been fit,
Being a servant in the church;
But His mercy wipes out merit,
That are like vultures on their perch.
His loving kindness was with me,
Whether as I or another;
Compassion has helped me to see,
To humbly forgive my brother.
