The Lord has delivered us,

From the power of darkness;

To go towards the light as thus,

His kingdom with blessedness.

Jesus Christ had paid the price,

To free us from our sin;

The temptations that entice,

That corrupted us within.

So our sins are forgiven,

By sacrificing His Son;

Who from His throne in Heaven,

So victory would be won.

Jesus Christ is the image,

Of the invisible God;

Frees us from our bondage,

Sin that caused us to be flawed.

The firstborn of creation,

Who has created all things;

Being a proclamation,

Of the greatness that He brings.

Things on Heaven and earth,

As seen and invisible;

Displaying of its true worth,

As real and intangible.

Whether presidents or kings,

Authority of power;

Of what the will of God brings,

Every day each hour.

He existed before all,

Holding it all together;

Before Adam took his fall,

Watches now as we gather.

Jesus is head of the church,

The beginning and the end;

Present each time that you search,

Not just God but is a friend.

A faith that will continue,

From a solid foundation;

For the way that we construe,

Gives us true salvation.
