The Devil's Boogie

Late at night when you’re on your own

And your friends have all gone home

May I say you should stay away

From the planchette psychophone?

If you don’t the Devil might pop round

Welcome to the Devil’s boogie, mystic

Hands are reaching out to dance with you

Welcome to the Devil’s boogie, naked flames

With curious names will light the room

Late at night when there’s no one home

And a shadow says ‘Hello,’ might be wise

To take advice leave the Ouija board alone

If you don’t the Devil might pop round

Welcome to the Devil’s boogie, Yes or

No is that aunt Ruby? Yea or Nay?

Welcome to the Devil’s boogie, candle's

Lit the planchette's moving it's a game

Late at night when a voice enquires, 'Is

There anybody here?' might be wise to

Leave on the light when the answer's, 'Yes

'My dear,' if you don't the Devil might pop

Round

Welcome to the Devil’s boogie, hip to

Hip with tasty chaps in gold brocade

Welcome to the Devil’s boogie, wine is

Served by sexy babes in cellophane...
