DAMN THE MAN!

A little bossy man lived down the road.
He never greeted anyone of Rhodes.
He led often a dog about in chain;
Insulted anyone that came his way.

Life, to him, meant to be rude to all folks;
No one meant but a thing before his eyes.
He was a lord of all that he could find;
A ruler, as he thought, of all around.

Then came a day, the blizzards of life struck;
The storms that make men shocked but landed tough,
And he found nobody to tell his case,
For all he made an enemy by choice.

Then, thought he hard about his former ways;
And thought really that he should make amends.
And so he did and, too, some respite had,
And learnt no more to live that type of life.
