THE JUNTA

THE JUNTA

Listen to this announcement
Anywhere you are
My name is General Basacus
I've taken over this realm.

Of ill, I'll work my wonders
And kill in heaps the free
I have no drop of goodness
All folks to carry on.

I'll multiply the thatch house
In forms rare and unknown
And fill the air with terror
It's my duty, you know?

No one sent me this errand
I actually sent myself
And must give account, too,
To those who find my case

The children hail my government
Rachis, they say, I brought
They spare me not of gamots
My tool t' oppress the poor.
