 When all else fails you
Throughout my day I pause to breathe
To catch my breath again, believe
If not for you where would I be?
This day I'd live much more deceived

I chased rainbows that led nowhere
Hid at times in darkness scared
Yet in this state you'd come to me
Again to speak of destiny

Dear GOD why would you waste
Your time and peace for me to taste
Of you who could just look away
From me, where lost I've strayed

Hold out you hand is what you ask
Now rise my son in me now bask
For I am yours as you are mine
As time allows, time mine divine

You stress and pain these passing days
As others do that lost their way
Be strong and keep me in your heart
Where live I do, vital my part

Life upon this sphere you now call home
Is just for now of things condoned
But if you let go what troubles you
As others would, we'd see things through

Together we shall conquer things
Bring anew, a new song sing
In silence, quiet applause
You'd see I'm there, for you great cause

When all else fails you, I will not
For I am GOD who unties knots
That bind this day daughters and sons
Loved dearly, the battles won

When all else fails you
