Sad Eyes in Paradise
Sad eyes in the midst of paradise!
What's this? The sum of sorrows
Of a lost kiss?
Morning sun stands at the window
With a cluster of golden rays, a
Picture perfect image of a winter's
Day!
A woman stands with her face in her hands
Many days and nights have passed there is
little hope within her grasp.
A sadden moment service at last.
I send my love, Out into the world to you
It is what my heart has advised me to do
I've missed my goodbye kiss from you, this
Is the best I can do.
A soft southerly breeze whispered in my ear,
I heard it say, " Sound asleep you lay, I'll
Place a kiss on your cheek, and be on my way,
I love you darling is the last words your voice
did say.
No sorrow in Paradise, when the young lover discovered
Her kiss was recovered!
