At the beginning of a new year,
As the Word of God flows from lips;
For stirring the spirit of fear,
On immoral relationships.
A proclamation goes throughout,
About what that has been written;
That is leaving us not a doubt,
That so many will be smitten.
For all the kingdoms of the earth,
Have snubbed the Lord up in Heaven;
While losing of His true worth,
Everything He has given.
He has charged me to build a home,
A new house in Jerusalem;
A sanctuary those that roam,
Sheltering against the mayhem.
Whosoever of among you,
Of His people to be in Him;
Comforting of humbly virtue,
Strengthening their spiritual vim.
Whoever is left in this place,
A place of where you did sojourn;
Gold and silver worth less than grace,
A fresh start by being re-born.
An offering given to God,
While you are serving the Lord;
Worshipping through honor and laud,
Showing He is loved and adored.
Begin again for a new year,
Able to willingly tender;
Giving not just gold, you love dear,
But of yourself you surrender.
Everyone whose heart God moved,
Prepare to go and build the church;
From the blueprints God has approved,
So that the lost will end their search.
