How is someone raised from the dead?

What kind of body will they wear?

What kind of food will they be fed?

Of their past will they be aware?

What you sow does not come to life,

And what you sow is not to be;

When living through toils and strife,

If not confessed the Lord will see.

Perhaps a bare kernel of the grain,

God has chosen each kind of seed;

Growth through the blessings of the rain,

Cultivating to rid of the weed.

Because not all flesh is the same,

There is only one kind for man;

Other creatures different frame,

How the Lord developed His plan.

A new body for the calling,

Not the same as the one on earth;

For preventing us from falling,

Showing how much glory is worth.

A body that cannot perish,

And sown with glory and honor;

A body that we can cherish,

A body to be a fawner.

Flesh and blood cannot inherit,

The heavenly kingdom of God;

Not even through our merit;

Only if we honor and laud.

I will tell you a mystery,

Because not all of us shall sleep;

For death will have a victory,

Through the glory that we will keep.

Mortal bodies will just decay,

But when hearing the trumpet sound;

For as the sign of Judgment Day,

And we will be heavenly bound.

O death, where is your victory?

O death, where is your mortal sting?

What is the benedictory?

What does the hereafter to bring?
