One Day I Will Return (NEW VERSION )

One Day I Will Return

One day I will return to a place I once called home.
Some time in the far off future, I will return to a place of ever lasting nightmares, where I lost part of my soul.
In this place many things were lost, during childhood innocence, and many things were found.

One day I will return to this place of old, torn down and re-built as new; I will bring down this house, and burn it to the ground.
The lights will dim in windows grim, that hide the darkness inside. Behind the dark curtains, are rooms in which I used to hide.

Up in an attic I recall, an old chair covered in mold and dust. Upon which there used to sit a teddy bear with one eye.
That belonged to someone I did not trust. One day I will return to a place where I was raised. To find my inner-self, as a child I
played there every day.

I made some friendships, that I thought would last. But life moves on, and times change, and those connections have long since succumbed
to the distant past.
One day I will return, to a place I see steeped in history; made of old stone and old oak, from ancient woodland full of mystery.

One day I will return to a place where I was raised, to find my inner self and the child that played for days.
