The OLD, Saying, of--PLAYING--the--GAME

I never knew--understood-- or ever heard of it as a --Minnesota Small, Town--Boy,-- the SAME

But when, I Joined the MARINES, I UNDERSTOOD
that no matter how much, --PAIN--, we learned to be as strong as STEEL, not as weak, as WOOD

The Drill, Instructors would Say, that--- PAIN,--- is----Weakness ---leaving the BODY, in every WAY
so we Learned to suck it up, be--MARINE--TOUGH--and--ROUGH--and--MOTIVATED----twenty-four-hours-a-DAY

So, as --MARINE--Recruits--WE-- Learned--to --------PLAY-The-GAME
stay-------- MOTIVATED-DEDICATED-DETERMINATED---------and---------MARINE---------INVINCIBLE---------Tough--and--Rough---------every--waking--and--sleeping--Moment--and--MARINE--Breath--the--SAME
