They made them slaves, they changed their name
They plundered and killed,they accepted no blame
Banning culture, England's shame
Forget your past or choose to be slain
The empire came, the empire killed
The black man shackled, killed at will
The leaders honored with statues of shame
Reminding the world of the killing game
Remove those memories, remove them now
Power to the people, freedom now
The statues of hate haunt the people
Return their land, free the people
No place here for the men of fear
Remove the flags from our country dear
First nation rights, first nation land
Treaties forced written in sand
Remove the statues, remove the pain
