Consider it nothing but joy,
When you fall into a trial;
Testing faith trying to destroy,
Making you sin to defile.
Your faith produces endurance,
So, let endurance run its course;
Jesus gives us the assurance,
The strength of your faith will enforce.
Let endurance have its effect,
So that you are being complete;
An endurance that is perfect,
With memories not to repeat.
If anyone lacks in wisdom,
Ask the Father who will supply;
Which will flow down from His Kingdom,
Answering your questions of why.
Ask in faith without having doubt,
Doubts are like a wave in the sea;
The wind blowing it all about,
Being captured and never free.
Never suppose He will receive,
For the Lord is double-minded;
Just a matter that you believe,
As long as you are not blinded.
The believer of humble means,
Should take pride in His position;
And from His throne He intervenes,
In blocking the opposition.
But the rich person that has pride,
Should have his humiliation;
There is no place for them to hide,
When the sun rises with its heat,
They wither like grass to perish;
And are trampled under the feet,
Of the Lord to whom we cherish.
Happy is the one who endures,
The testing of toils and strife;
Blocking temptation from the lures,
For receiving the crown of life.
