I handed in ashes to God
He handed me a rare Emerald Beauty
How in the world do I deserve this angel
It was then I knew...
She wraps me in her wings
The comfort; the ease
The peace she helps me maintain
Calming my tumultuous seas
While she breaches walls
It took me many years to build
Now they’re crumbling
As she pours out her love
To become my world’s foundation
In my heart
So many voids she fills
The thrill my soul gets
Once I see her curve of pearls
Causing my vocals to go numb
Did I ever mention
How it’s her I don’t deserve
I’m lost in her eyes
Traveling to our world
Taking my time
Each and every moment I savor
Falling in love deeper and deeper
Each time I taste her flavor
I step back capturing mental photos
Thanking God for unlimited memory
She reaches and I welcome her touch
Never regretting the moment I called her bluff
The moment when she became more than enough
It's No Wonder...how I knew what I knew
She...Is You
